🎓 Graduation & Awards Ceremony 2025 – A Day of Honor, Reflection, and Celebration 🎉

On Friday, June 20th, 2025, the atmosphere at the Church of God Auditorium on Fowler Street was filled with joy, pride, and heartfelt emotion as Ricah’s Academy hosted its annual Graduation and Awards Ceremony under the powerful theme: “In Time, We Rise – Honoring the Past, Embracing the Present, Shaping the Future.”

This year’s event was a moving tribute to our students’ resilience, determination, and unwavering pursuit of excellence. From the stirring processional of the Class of 2025 to the final benediction, every moment reflected the hard work and growth of our graduates and award recipients.

The ceremony began with grace and purpose, as emcees Jonah Miller and Odessa Greene welcomed guests with poise and charm. Sonith Lockhart led us in a powerful opening prayer, setting a reverent tone for the occasion. Donnavon Farrington followed with a heartfelt welcome address, reminding us all of the importance of perseverance and purpose. Aubrey Sturrup’s scripture reading was a beautiful reflection on faith and vision.

Guests stood proudly for the playing of the national anthem, a reminder of our shared identity and dreams. The musical performance by Lynden Rolle was a standout moment—his voice stirred deep emotion across the audience, drawing tears and applause.

A riveting spoken word piece by Vondre Clarke challenged us all to dream boldly and rise courageously. His words echoed the very essence of this year’s theme—honoring where we’ve come from while preparing to leave our mark on the future.

Awards were presented to outstanding students across all grades for academic excellence, leadership, service, and character. Special recognition was also given to our graduating class for their journey through the challenges of academic life. Each graduate received a personal token—an authentic Invicta watch—symbolizing the value of time, responsibility, and achievement.

As the program drew to a close, smiles were abundant, hugs were warm, and photos captured memories that will last a lifetime. Families, teachers, and students came together to celebrate more than just accomplishments—they celebrated transformation, growth, and new beginnings.
